Tribute to Firefighters

11_Septembre1

Today, ten years ago, there was a terrorist attack on New York. The Twin Towers of World Trade Center were destroyed about crash of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 hijacked by Terrorists. Following this, the Firefighters arrived on the place and evacuated people who suffered under rubbles. Regrettably, many people are died and this day was marked forever.

The Firefighters made all their possibilities this day, but it was impossible for them to evacuate all people in the Twin Towers because some floors were condemned by explosions and the fire. However, the firefighters stayed in towers till the end of this Nightmare, besides, most of them died. For all these reasons, today we want to pay a tribute in all these firefighters died on 9-11.

New Zealand might be a small country but it has developed a big name as a popular international tourist destination. With good driving roads, top tourist spots easily accessible and an ever-changing display of breath-taking scenery, it is easy to understand why visitors enjoy touring around this beautiful country.

Australia national rugby union team

The Australian national rugby union team is the representative side of Australia in rugby union. The national team is nicknamed the Wallabies.The nickname "Wallabies" is in reference to the wallaby.200px_Logo_Wallabies_svg

Australia have competed in all six Rugby World Cups, and have won the World Cup on two occasions, in 1991 against England, and in 1999 against France.

Australia's National Anthem- Advance Australia Fair

Australians all let us rejoice,
For we are young and free;
We've golden soil and wealth for toil,
Our home is girt by sea;
Our land abounds in nature's gifts
Of beauty rich and rare;
In history's page, let every stage
Advance Australia fair!
In joyful strains then let us sing,
Advance Australia fair!
When gallant Cook from Albion sail'd,
To trace wide oceans o'er,
True British courage bore him on,
Till he landed on our shore.
Then here he raised old England's flag,
The standard of the brave;
With all her faults we love her still,
Britannia rules the waves!
In joyful strains then let us sing
Advance Australia fair!
Beneath our radiant southern Cross,
We'll toil with hearts and hands;
To make this Commonwealth of ours
Renowned of all the lands;
For those who've come across the seas
We've boundless plains to share;
With courage let us all combine
To advance Australia fair.
In joyful strains then let us sing
Advance Australia fair!
While other nations of the globe
Behold us from afar,
We'll rise to high renown and shine
Like our glorious southern star;
From England, Scotia, Erin's Isle,
Who come our lot to share,
Let all combine with heart and hand
To advance Australia fair!
In joyful strains then let us sing
Advance Australia fair!
Should foreign foe ever sight our coast,
Or dare a foot to land,
We'll rouse to arms like sires of yore
To guard our native strand;
Britannia then shall surely know,
Beyond wide ocean's roll,
Her sons in fair Australia's land
Still keep a British soul.
In joyful strains then let us sing
Advance Australia fair!

My meeting ...

In my last trip in New Zealand, I met a New Zealander and we have had a conversation. I took advantage of this conversation to ask him questions on his country.

"-Then, Are there a very beautiful places to visit ?

-Yes, many places. There are the two Glaciers, Franz Josef Glacier and Fox Glacier, they are very impressive and pretty and you can visit them in helicopter or on foot with a guide. You can visit also the North Island and the South Island, but the South Island is more nice than the North Island, in particular the west coast.

-Oh, ok thank you for the advice ! And are there a activities to make with the family ?

-Yes absolutely, you can biking, hiking, kayaking etc .It's really sport !

-Oh yes, I think ! and can you speak me about the Haka dance please ?

-Yes, The Haka is a very traditional dance form of Maori and today this dance is danced by All Blacks before the matchs.

-Ok thank you very much for your answers, it's very nice for you !

-Your welcome !"les_eaux_turquoises_du_ruataniwha_940x705

Tā moko

Tā moko is the permanent body and face marking by Māori, the indigenous people of New Zealand.Since 1990 there has been a resurgence in the practice of tā moko for both men and women, as a sign of cultural identity and a reflection of the general revival of the language and culture. Not all tā moko applied today is done using a tattoo machine. Recently there has been a strong revival of the use of uhi (chisels). Women too have become more involved as practitioners, such as Christine Harvey of the Chathams, Henriata Nicholas in Rotorua and Julie Kipa in Whakatane. Te Uhi a Mataora was recently established by practitioners to discuss issues facing the art form, such as the practice by non-Māori, an issue which is increasingly of concern to Māori.

Personally, I like Tattoos but on the face, I don't like very much.

The Haka dance

Haka is a traditional dance form of the Māorii of New Zealandd. It is a posture dancee performed by a group, with vigorous movements and stamping of the feet with rhythmically shouted accompaniment. 260px_MaoriWardance

This dance became famous worldwide thanks to the brilliance of the New Zealand team of rugby union, the All Blacks. The players, in black holding, interpret traditionally Haka before the beginning of each of their meetings, with the aim of impressing the opponent.

The festval of New Zealand

New Zealand’s biggest-ever festival, which will run in conjunction with Rugby World Cup 2011, has grown even larger following the allocation of Lottery Grants Board funding to 195 projects. The REAL New Zealand Festival will highlight the country’s arts and culture, food and wine, heritage, entertainment, and lifestyle throughout next year’s tournament, which is expected to attract 85,000 international visitors. The newly-funded projects will bring the total number of festival events to well over 500, stretching from Kaitaia to Invercargill. 59699481_p
